Delivery Information
Discount Furniture Direct Ltd run their own transport fleet of high-tech Mercedes Sprinters. The advantage of using our own vehicles dramatically reduces the risk of damage caused by every-day couriers. Your furniture is in safe hands from the minute it leaves our warehouse to the time is arrives safely in your home.
We will contact you 24-48hrs prior to your delivery. You will also be given an AM or PM delivery slot at the time of booking in your delivery. If you would like a telephone call 1 hour prior to your delivery taking place, this can also be arranged upon your request.
Every item in our range has its own unique delivery time that is updated daily to reflect any changes in the supply chain. Many items of furniture are manufactured to order or made abroad and the delivery time reflects the time it takes us to deliver it to your home. Some longer delivery times on certain products are not unique to Discount Furniture Direct Ltd, they are the norm with virtually all UK furniture retailers. By making and delivering your furniture to order we are able to offer you the broadest choice of furniture possible, allowing you to choose the item that is just right for you and which will give you pleasure for many years to come.
Delivery Times
Delivery times vary according to the product and the manufacturer. Approximate times are given at the top of every page and these may vary depending on how busy the manufacturer is when you place your order. We will of course endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any delays we are made aware of. Generally, when more than one item is ordered, all items will be delivered at the same time.
Delivery Costs
We do not charge for delivery within mainland UK. Please contact the office on 0845 6002652 or

Storage
If you are having work done in your home please be aware that building projects are frequently delayed, so if you are unable to take delivery of your furniture when it is ready we will store it in our warehouse free of charge and deliver at a later date.
Damage in Transit
If your furniture sustains minor damage during shipping or contains a manufacturer’s defect you must inform Discount Furniture Direct Ltd within 48 hours of receiving the goods on 0845 6002652 or use the
Contact Us page for other ways to get in touch. We will arrange for any parts to be sent to you or replaced if necessary. If items need to be returned please keep the original packaging.
Note: All returns and repairs must be arranged through our Customer Service Department (we are unable to pay for returns which we have not authorized).
Missing Items
